Rehearsal, 4 – 7 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 17th
Anderson Co. @ Halls – 7:30 p.m.
This is Senior Night. All band seniors and their parents will be recognized on the field before the game. Seniors and Parents should assemble near the field gate at 6:45pm.
5:00 The back gate will close. Students who drive and park in the back, must be parked by this time
6:30 Warm-up & tuning
6:45 Seniors and their Parents assemble near stadium gate
7:10 Band marches to field
8:30 Perform halftime show after the Anderson County Band performs.
10:00 At game’s end, the band may play stand tunes and then line up and march back to the band room.
Students will be dismissed by Mr. B after they have put away all equipment & uniforms.
Students need to have black marching shoes, black socks that are crew length, and white gloves when the band is in full uniform. Hair must be off the collar when wearing the uniform. We will have hair nets if needed. Students should not have make up or jewelry.
Band students need to make every effort to keep food off the jacket. The white part of the jacket is difficult to keep clean and takes a lot of work. Competition season is here, so let’s keep ourselves looking great!
There will be a 3rd Quarter break at every home game. Band students must be back in their seats, ready to play by the 2-minute mark of the 3rd quarter on the game clock.
Students should remember that they are representing the school and the band at football games. The entire game is part of their performance grade which is pre-game, in the stands playing pep tunes, or the half-time show.

Please have your student bring about $20 for food (if they haven’t already paid). The band will be eating lunch upon arrival (arranged by volunteers) and hamburgers/hot dogs (cooked by volunteers) after their prelim performance in the parking lot. If students wish to eat or spend money in the stadium, they will need to bring extra money for that. We will make a brief rest stop going to MTSU and coming back. If a student plans to leave the competition with a parent/guardian, they must bring a signed note explaining why they are leaving. This note must be turned into the band office before we leave.
