Annual Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction Rescheduled

Due to the closure of Knox County Schools tomorrow the Annual Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction will be rescheduled for this Thursday, February 28th at 5:00 PM.

The planned events for the evening will go on as previously scheduled with the exception of a slight time delay for the Mid-Winter Concert – It will now begin at 7:15 PM.

Our Annual Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction Is Just 8 Days Away!

🤩 What’s Up: Our annual Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction is just 8 days away and you all are invited!

🎟 Doors open at 5:00 pm and bids for the Silent Auction will take place throughout the dinner portion of the evening.

🍽 What to Expect: You will be serenaded by the Halls HS Jazz Band as you enjoy a delicious meal that will include all-you-can-eat spaghetti served with salad, a side of bread, dessert and a drink.

We are so excited about this years Silent Auction that will feature over 30 amazing gift basket – including a Chocolate Lovers Basket pictured below (umm, there’s Godiva 🍫 in there y’all 😉) and a Healthy Living – Spa Basket. Both totally worth your consideration.

Road to Worlds Drum-a-Thon

Our Road to Worlds Drum-A-Thon will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM in the Halls HS Gymnasium. This marathon 12-hour day of playing will include 2 public performances (a matinee show and an evening dinner and show).

We are committed to tirelessly play until our fingers bleed to raise much needed money in order for us to compete in this year’s WGI Worlds Competition in Dayton, OH. We also are excited to grow awareness about the competitive world of Indoor Percussion and Winterguard within our community.

Winterguard Auditions

We’re happy to announce that after several years off, the Halls High School Winterguard will be returning in 2019!

Auditions for this group will be held in early November along with the Halls Middle School Winterguard, who just had a fantastic 2018 season.

We’re so excited for the opportunity to continue building our program throughout the year and for these two groups to grow and work together. Tentative audition info is below.

Halls Fruit Sale

The Halls High School Band is beginning our Citrus Fundraiser to help raise needed funds for our award-winning band program. We have partnered once again with Florida Indian River Groves to provide you with the freshest fruit available. Please show your support by purchasing a box of our fresh citrus for you, your family and friends to enjoy over the holidays! You can place your order online now through September 21st. Then during the first 2 weeks of December, your fruit will be harvested the very same day it’s shipped to us, ensuring that you receive fruit that is hours off of the tree. Now that’s fresh!

Food City Frenzy Car Wash

We need all hands on deck! Students will be washing cars throughout the morning. Make sure you don’t wear a belt or other item that may scratch a vehicle. They will have an opportunity to change, if needed, before they march through the store (around noon.)

We need parents to help with concessions, the merchandise table, and to supervise the students/help with washing cars.

We also need students to provide canned drinks. Please bring the one assigned to your section. All sodas should be name brand or Food City brand, only. You can bring these to Food City on Saturday morning.
