18th Annual Halls Crossroads Car Show

For the 18th consecutive year, the Halls High Band Boosters will host the Halls Crossroads Car Show to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 in the Food City (Halls Community) parking lot. This years event will feature a wide array of enjoyable activities such as Shopping, a Silent Auction, Concessions, and Entertainment. Cars will be on display from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.


Registration beings at 9:00 am and will be open until 12:00 pm.

Judging will immediately follow and Awards will be presented at 4:00 pm. 

The cost of registration is $25

Halls High Band is a nationally recognized award-winning high school band program directed by Eric Baumgardner, Ashley Waller and Tiffany Kimbro at Halls High School in Knoxville, Tennessee


About The Car Show

This annual event helps raise funds to furnish much needed instruments, instrument repair, and uniforms for our  band program. Each year the band must acquire and replace instruments and uniforms, in addition to the many expenses necessary to meet the need of our growing program. It is a huge undertaking, requiring thousands of dollars, but the Band Boosters hopes to raise part of this funding through the Halls Crossroads Car Show and our generous sponsors.

Our Annual Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction Is Just 8 Days Away!

🤩 What’s Up: Our annual Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction is just 8 days away and you all are invited!

🎟 Doors open at 5:00 pm and bids for the Silent Auction will take place throughout the dinner portion of the evening.

🍽 What to Expect: You will be serenaded by the Halls HS Jazz Band as you enjoy a delicious meal that will include all-you-can-eat spaghetti served with salad, a side of bread, dessert and a drink.

We are so excited about this years Silent Auction that will feature over 30 amazing gift basket – including a Chocolate Lovers Basket pictured below (umm, there’s Godiva 🍫 in there y’all 😉) and a Healthy Living – Spa Basket. Both totally worth your consideration.

Road to Worlds Drum-A-Thon

The Halls HS Band is holding our 1st Annual Drum-A-Thon on Saturday, February 16, 2019. Our goal is to increase community awareness about our nationally-ranked music programs and raise enough money for us to attend this year’s WGI World Competition in Dayton, OH.

Two Public Performances

Also, we are excited to be providing TWO public performances that day. Our first show will be an informal behind-the-scenes look at one of our intense rehearsals. It will end with a full run-through of our show. The gymnasium doors will open at 11:00 AM, and the show will start at 11:30 AM. For your convenience, we will be running a concession standand all proceeds will go towards our band program.

Our second show will begin with a dinner followed by a full-dress performance. Attendees will be able to enjoy performances by our Indoor Percussion Ensemble in addition to our MS and HS Winterguard groups. Doors will open at 5:00 PM. Dinner will be served beginning at 5:30 PM in the Halls HS cafeteria. Our dinner will be a fun and festive Taco & Nacho Bar, a drink and dessert-YUM! The show will be held in the HS Gymnasium and is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM

Ticket Sales

For our matinee show, we will be accepting donations at the door. The advance ticket cost for our dinner and show is $8/adult, $5/student and children under 5 are FREE. By purchasing your tickets in advance, not only will you save $2/ticket, you will help us plan our dinner better. Tickets can be bought securely online via PayPal on this page. The Halls High School Band is beginning our Citrus Fundraiser to help raise needed funds for our award-winning band program. We have partnered once again with Florida Indian River Groves to provide you with the freshest fruit available. Please show your support by purchasing a box of our fresh citrus for you, your family and friends to enjoy over the holidays!
